The Open kicked off yesterday, for those not familiar with The Open, it’s golf’s oldest championship and one of the most coveted.

You have Tiger Woods Rory Mcilroy and the rest of the top golfers come in hordes in hope to take first place. Home favourite Rory Mcilroy is hoping to complete a fairy-tale win on the course he went round 61, back when he was a 16 year old prodigy.

Unlucky for Rory Mcilroy, there is a host of talent standing between him and the win. Among those Jon Rahm and the current number one Brooks Koepka, who has become a big deal, he has even snubbed Tiger Woods’s plea for a practice round together.

The Open will run through until this Sunday evening and we will be able to see who takes the Claret Jug home, best of luck to all competing.

Cats, the movie to be released in December features a whole host of stars, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Judi Dench, Ian McKellen, Taylor Swift and James Corden. The film uses the actors faces and covers their bodies in computer generated fur, as they sing and dance on a larger than life set.

Scott Mendleson, film critic for Forbes. Com, tweeted that the trailer was appropriately terrifying and insane, like a drug induced nightmare, I can’t wait!

Cats promises to be a big hit if you go by the reaction it’s getting so far, Taylor Swift, known for her love of cats, said cast members did extensive movement workshops to embody their feline characters.
