Today we will jump in with news of Yahoo mail the US company. Thousands of people across the globe were unable to access their emails after the site crashed.
In the UK the problem spilled onto British Telecoms, Sky and Talk Talk’s accounts which are controlled by Yahoo. The problem was 1st reported around 7am on Thursday (September 5) when tons of people turned to social media to find out what was going on. Luckily though by 3pm of the same day Yahoo customer care tweeted: “Most services are back online. This is a technical issue that affected our services. We are sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience as we get everything back up and running”.
Onto some Eastenders spoilers, Hunter Owen opens fire inside the Vic with deadly consequences. Escaped killer Hunter Owen will open fire in the Queens Vic pub in EastEnders tomorrow night and it’s going to be deadly. We should all brace up as EastEnders is about to air a shocking gun siege that will see at least one character lose their life.
Hunter Owen, who is played by Charlie Winter is armed, dangerous and after revenge on Jack Branning after the former cop shopped him to the police for shooting Ray Kelly earlier this year. A source has revealed to the Daily Star Sunday that Hunter Owen would be murdered shortly after returning to the show. The insider revealed: “It’s a big decision to kill off a major character, but producers are confident this will be great telly. Hunter’s death is going to rock Albert Square.
Former Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, 95, has passed away in hospital in Singapore where he was receiving treatment. The current president of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa revealed the news of his death on twitter.
Robert Mugabe ruled Zimbabwe for 40 years, during which time there was bloodshed, alleged persecution of political opponents and alleged vote rigging on large scales. In 2000 Robert Mugabe led a campaign to evict white farmers from their land, which was given back to black Zimbabweans. Robert Mugabe died in Singapore on Friday morning, surrounded by family, including his wife, Grace Mugabe. The former president of Zimbabwe was admitted to hospital in early April, although it’s not clear what illness he was being treated for.
A former minister was quoted in relation to the death of Mugabe “Sadly we have lost him. It’s a day we hoped would never come, but he has had a good innings and is now rested”.
The current president of Zimbabwe, Emmerson Mnangagwa tweeted: “It is with the outmost sadness that I announce the passing on of Zimbabwe’s founding father and former president, Cde Robert Mugabe was an icon of liberation, a pan Africanist who dedicated his life to the emancipation and empowerment of his people. His contribution to the history of our nation and continent will never be forgotten, May his soul rest in eternal peace”.
