A very good day to you all out there from us here at Meditravelist in Istanbul, Turkey, trusting you had a wonderful and restful weekend. Time again to catch up with all the news happening around the world.

Today we are going to start with Michael Jackson the late and great King of Pop, it is being claimed that Michael Jackson used to spray Lisa Marie Presley’s underwear with perfume, he would then throw them around, to give the impression that they had shared a room.

Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis, now 51, was wed to Michael Jackson between 1994 and 1996, this was the time he was battling sexual abuse allegations.

The brief marriage between Michael and Lisa Marie Presley sparked a lot of controversy and conspiracy theories, with many believing it was nothing more than a publicity stunt.

Sandy Domz worked as an administrative assistant at the Neverland Ranch, this was while Lisa and Michael were together. She claimed to have been puzzled by their interaction, alleging that it didn’t seem like a natural relationship or friendship at that.

Sandy described the supposed length Michael went to keep up appearances.

This is all in contradiction to the time in 1995, Lisa was quizzed by American journalist, Diane Sawyer, “Do you have sex?”, to which Lisa responded ‘Yes yes yes’

Along with four other employees Sandy Domz tried to sue Michael Jackson for mistreatment at ranch in a failed lawsuit.

The King of Pop’s reputation was left in tatters after the release of a documentary, Leaving Neverland, released earlier this year.

Some good news for those die hard Fleetwood Mac fans, including myself, Fleetwood Mac have reportedly teased a headline performance at Glastonbury Festival next year. Fleetwood Mac who are easily rock icons dropped hints during their huge show at Wembley last night.

This was achieved by Fleetwood Mac drummer, Mick Fleetwood offering some not so subtle clues.

Witness accounts of who were in attendance at the show reported, Fleetwood told the crowd that the band still “had a big field to play”, while others reporting that Fleetwood made reference to “a rained out festival in England next year,”.

The performance of the band at the Glastonbury Festival next year is yet to be confirmed but if they do get to headline it next year, it would see them, top billing at Glastonbury festival’s 50th anniversary.

Fleetwood Mac, meanwhile recently admitted that they would burn in hell, if they didn’t ever take the chance to headline.

Now on to the coveted Royal Ascot. Now the Royal Ascot has always been the place for celebrity spotting, during Hollywood’s golden age, Elizabeth Taylor, Rita Haworth and Sophia Loren, all travelled to Berkshire, England for the horse races. In recent years, Helen Miren, Eddie Redmayne and Mo Farah, have all followed suit.

But since the Royal Ascot was founded 300 years ago, the Royal family has been at the centre of the event.

The Royal Ascot has become a place where they congregate to let their hair down, at the same time maintaining the dress code and hats firmly on.

The Royal Ascot is on for a duration of 5 days, with military precision at 1400hrs the Royal come down to the event in open horse drawn laundaus, along the grandstand which stretch a mile long. The Royal procession was started back in 1825 by king George IV, who was well known to be a lover of pomp and pageantry, this counts for the closest the public ever gets to see the royals all together, much more intimate than the other events.
