PRP in Hair Transplantation

PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) liquid is consisted of the patient’s own blood. There are no allergic reactions or risks of infection. After anesthesia, PRP is injected into the hair roots. This process takes a short time like 2-3 minutes and is painless. After the injection, there are no swelling or bruising in the applied area. Also, hair supported with PRP technique give better and more effective results in hair transplantation for patients who have seasonal or genetic hair loss or patients with thin and weak hair. PRP treatment is performed once in every three weeks, or within a shorter or longer time interval suggested by the doctor. This treatment supports the following issues:
