Lionel Messi did not only score the two goals but he also assisted in late strikes from Gerald Pique and Ousman Dembele.
Barcelona is to discover their quarter final and potential semi – final opponents on Friday at 11:00 GMT.
Now we have to talk about Liverpool versus Bayern Munich match, Liverpool came out on top with a 3 – 1 victory over Bayern Munich to the delight of all the Liverpool supporters and Jurgen Klopp declaring it a “big step” in the team’s development as they surged into the quarter finals of the championships league, good job Liverpool on a nice win!
Liverpool has been propelled into Friday’s draw for the tournament’s last eight.
Moving on to Charlie Whiting who was formula 1′ s long serving race director , has died at the age of 66.
Charlie Whiting passed away in Melbourne as a result of pulmonary embolism, this happened three days before the Australian Grand prix which will open the F1 season.
Charlie Whiting began his F1 career in 1997 working at the Hesketh team, and then in the 1980s at Brabham, he has been an integral part of the organisation of the FIA Formula 1 since joining in the federation in 1988 and in the capacity of race director since 1997, RIP legend.
Lastly we will talk about the upcoming St Patrick’s Day, every 17th of March, Ireland celebrates one of its patron saints, St Patrick, with a national holiday and a traditional feast.
