The Open kicked off yesterday, for those not familiar with The Open, it’s golf’s oldest championship and one of the most coveted.
You have Tiger Woods Rory Mcilroy and the rest of the top golfers come in hordes in hope to take first place. Home favourite Rory Mcilroy is hoping to complete a fairy-tale win on the course he went round 61, back when he was a 16 year old prodigy.
Unlucky for Rory Mcilroy, there is a host of talent standing between him and the win. Among those Jon Rahm and the current number one Brooks Koepka, who has become a big deal, he has even snubbed Tiger Woods’s plea for a practice round together.
The Open will run through until this Sunday evening and we will be able to see who takes the Claret Jug home, best of luck to all competing.
